ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಕವಿ ಕುವೆಂಪುರವರ ವಿಶ್ವ ಮಾನವ ಸಂದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವಂತೆ

"ಹುಟ್ಟುವ ಪ್ರತಿ ಮಗುವು ವಿಶ್ವಮಾನವನೇ! ಆ ನಂತರ ಆ ಮಗುವನ್ನು "ಜಾತಿ,ಮತ"ದ ಕಟ್ಟುಪಾಡುಗಳಿಂದ ಬಂಧಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗ ಬಾರದು. ಯಾವುದೇ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಜಾತಿಯಿಂದ ಮುಖ್ಯನಾಗಬಾರದು, ನೈತಿಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವದಿಂದ ಮುಖ್ಯನಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂಬ ಪರಿಕಲ್ಪನೆ ಕುವೆಂಪು ಅವರದಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಕುವೆಂಪು ಅವರ ಜಾತ್ಯಾತೀತ ಮನೋಭಾವದಿಂದ ಮೂಡಿ ಬಂದ ಆಶಯವೇ ವಿಶ್ವಮಾನವ ಸಂದೇಶವಾಗಿದೆ. ಬುದ್ಧ, ಬಸವರ ಹಾಗೆ ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರವಾಗಿ, ವೈಚಾರಿಕ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋನವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿ ಅನಿಕೇತನ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವ ರೂಪಿಸಲು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದಿಂದ ಮಾತ್ರ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರೆ.

ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ ಮಾತ ವಿದ್ಯಾಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಉತ್ತಮ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ- ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ ಪಡೆದಿರುವ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ವಿದ್ಯಾಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದು ನಿಂತಿರುವ ಭಾರತ ಮಾತ ವಿದ್ಯಾಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಯು 1957 ರಿಂದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ತಜ್ಞರ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹೃದಯದ ದಾನಿಗಳ ನೆರವಿನಿಂದ ಅವಿಚ್ಛಿನ್ನವಾಗಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ನಮ್ಮ ವಿದ್ಯಾಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಲವು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

According to Kuvempu’s philosophy, every child is born as a Vishwamanava (universal human), but as it grows, it gradually becomes alpamanava (diminished human). Through education, it is possible to transform this diminished human back into a universal human. Education is the tool of development, knowledge is the foundation of civilization.
