Bharatha Matha Education society is started in 1957 with the motto of Sanskrit shloka "Satyam Jnyanamanamtham Bhrahma ". The educational institution, which started with a few students and with the efforts of H.S.Doreswamy, R. Gopalakrishna Iyengar, V.S Krishna Iyer, D.Krishnamurthy, and other philanthropists. The institution was established for the benefit of the education of girls in one of the prestigious areas of Bangalore Hanumanthanagar and surrounding areas. Today, the educational institution is one of the eminent educational institutions in Bangalore city.
